About Me

I’m a fully qualified and highly experienced primary teacher with over seven years of dedicated classroom practice, specialising in Key Stage 2 (KS2) and the support of pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). I currently teach in Year 6, where I prepare children for their end-of-year SATs with a focus on building both subject mastery and confidence, regardless of their starting point.

My teaching experience spans all year groups within KS2, and I’ve worked in a variety of school environments — from large urban primaries to smaller community schools — which has sharpened my ability to adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each learner. I’ve also held leadership roles as Year Group Leader in both Year 3 and Year 5, where I led curriculum planning, mentored colleagues, and championed high-quality, inclusive teaching.

As an educator, I am calm, approachable, and deeply committed to helping children succeed. I believe that effective learning happens in an environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and intellectually challenged. I design lessons that are purposeful, engaging, and tailored to the individual — combining academic rigour with creativity to ensure pupils not only make progress, but also enjoy the process.

Whether I’m supporting a child with SEN, boosting confidence in English or maths, or providing focused SATs preparation, my aim is always to nurture self-belief, develop core skills, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

I offer high-quality one-to-one and small group tuition across the curriculum for KS2 learners, including tailored support for pupils with additional needs. I would be delighted to support your child on their educational journey.
