About Me

I am a passionate Economics and Maths tutor with extensive experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, A Level, IB, and SAT, as well as supporting students in international schools and those following the UK curriculum. My enthusiasm for Economics began with my own GCSE and A-Level studies, and I now teach all major UK exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR. I am also highly experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with ADHD and Autism, helping them excel in exams and achieve outstanding results.

SEN Experience: Supporting ADHD and Autism

As a specialist in SEN, I have a proven track record of helping students with ADHD and Autism overcome barriers to learning and exam performance. I use tailored strategies such as structured lesson plans, clear routines, and adaptive teaching methods to build confidence and focus. My approach includes breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, providing regular feedback, and using visual aids and interactive resources. Many of my SEN students have gone on to achieve excellent results in Economics and Maths at GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, and IB, often surpassing their own expectations and those of their schools.

Economics and Maths Tutoring: UK, IB, and International School Expertise

In Microeconomics, I guide students through business costs, revenues, profits, and the analysis of market outcomes, including market failures. In Macroeconomics, I teach both Keynesian and Neoclassical models, applying them to real-world events such as the Wall Street Crash, the 1970s Oil Crisis, the Global Financial Crisis, and the Cost of Living Crisis. My Maths tuition covers all key topics required for GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, and SAT exams, ensuring students are fully prepared for their assessments.
