Hi, I’m Ren!

I am a native English and Mandarin Chinese speaker and an experienced tutor specialising in Chinese for PSLE, GCE O-Level, IGCSE, and GCSE. With a BSc in Psychology from the University of East Anglia, I combine strong subject knowledge with an understanding of diverse learning needs.

I have extensive experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), having developed and co-authored and published PSLE IGCSE and GCSE books and tailored resources for teachers. I am neurodivergent and understand and can empathise with learning difficulties. My teaching focuses on exam preparation strategies and bespoke resources designed for each student. Above all, I aim to encourage and empower every learner, helping them build confidence, resilience, and achieve their full potential in Chinese.
