Daniel is an experienced British international-school Head of Physics and a specialist Physics and Mathematics tutor based in Thailand. He provides personalised online tuition for students following the IB, Cambridge International, IGCSE and A-Level curricula. Daniel is also a soon to be published author of IGCSE educational work books.
With more than a decade of teaching experience since 2013, I specialise in Physics and Mathematics across several international curricula, including IB, Cambridge International, IGCSE and A-Level. I am available for face-to-face tuition in Bangkok and online tuition internationally. My passion is helping students master these interconnected subjects while understanding how they explain and model the world around us.
Daniel adapts his Physics and Mathematics teaching to each student’s learning profile, confidence and curriculum requirements. He works particularly well with learners who benefit from clear structure, patient explanations, visual modelling and the careful breakdown of complex problems using Executive Functioning
Lessons can include worked examples, diagrams, real-world applications, retrieval practice and step-by-step examination strategies. Daniel checks foundational understanding before introducing more advanced material, helping to reduce cognitive overload and prevent gaps in knowledge from becoming barriers to progress.
Where appropriate, Daniel works alongside the SEN Specialists learning designer to incorporate personalised strategies for attention, organisation, working memory and examination preparation.
Daniel’s teaching is built around patience, real-world application and engaging storytelling. He ensures that students understand the foundations before moving on to more advanced material.
Rather than presenting Mathematics and Physics as collections of abstract equations, Daniel connects theories to practical examples from everyday life. He also uses stories from scientific discoveries and experiments to make complex concepts more memorable and encourage curiosity beyond the examination syllabus.
This approach helps students recognise Mathematics as the language underpinning Physics while developing deeper understanding across both subjects.
Tell us a little about the student, their curriculum and the support they need. Our learning designer will review the information and confirm whether Daniel is the right match.
